Trawling Over 50 Metres


	Please note that it would be perfectly legal for an under-50 metre trawler to display the lights on this page However, the lights shown below are legal for an over-50 metre trawler and are based on all-round green and white lights, with sidelights, sternlight and a masthead light abaft and higher than the all round green..


	Vessel 50 metres or more engaged in trawling and making way through the water, bow view.

		Vessel 50 metres or more engaged in trawling and making way through the water, port view.

			Vessel 50 metres or more engaged in trawling and making way through the water, stern view. Note this is the same as the under 50 metre vessel

Memory Aids - spending time on a trawler for days on end would be bound to make you go a sickly GREEN sea-sick colour. Hence - add a Green light to the normal powered vessel.
