Please note that it would be perfectly legal for an under-50 metre power boat to display the lights shown below.
However, the lights below are legal for an over-50 metre boat and are based on the pushing boat having two masthead lights forward, extra masthead light abaft and higher than the forward ones, port and starboard sidelights, and sternlight.
The boat being pushed just has port and starboard sidelights and sternlight.
Please note that the “Over 50 metres” phrase refers to the length of the pushing vessel.
