Preferred Channel to Port

Characteristics:-

  • Green with a Red Strip through the centre.
  • Shaped like a can, spar or pillar.
  • Numbering - 1,3,5,7,9,11 etc proceeding towards port
  • Flashing Green light - 2 + 1 Green

HELP!  If anyone has any images of Preferred Channel Marks I’d love to use them.  I had to make these in Paint Shop.

Memory Aids:-

  • Its mainly a Green lateral mark
  • The light is saying “There are TWO channels - I prefer you to go up this ONE”
    (Hence - 2 plus 1)
